I got a call this morning from Vash. He told me to check Kenya's blog, and when I did, I found some very good news: the war is over. With the death of Palpatine and the destruction of the planet Byss (taking all his clones with it), the Resistance has effectively cut the heart out of the Empire.

Our side has suffered minimal losses. Vader and Kenya are all right. The only big name that didn't make it was Count Dooku, who died saving Leia. Knives especially is grieving his loss - they had some rather interesting discussions in the time they knew one another, and he's planning to stay for the funeral. So are the other Gung-Ho Guns. But as far as we know, this is the end. The boys are coming home. (Well, fourteen boys and four women.)

I can't say life hasn't been easier (and quieter) without Vash and Knives around the house. I know they went to fight for a good cause, but I've missed them both, and I'm glad they'll be back. Same goes for the others, even if I hadn't gotten to know them as well as I did those two humanoid Plants. They've already made plans to open the portal to New Eden when they get back, and I'm already down as the first person to visit once they're settled in.

Yet something makes me uneasy. The true fate of Mon Mothma remains unknown, and I'm wondering if she might still be out there, working behind the scenes. Until we know for certain what happened to the former Senator from Chandrila, I wouldn't let my guard down. Knives agrees with me, and he's willing to head out into space and investigate with some of the Gung-Ho Guns. Vash will lead those left on Earth while his brother's off searching.

Those on Earth would be:

Vash the Stampede
Derringer Meryl (Meryl Stryfe)
Midvalley the Hornfreak
Dominique the Cyclops
Chapel the Evergreen
Rai-Dei the Blade
Bankotsu
Princess Abi
Gray/Brad the Ninelives

The team that would go into space is:

Millions Knives
Legato Bluesummers
Nicholas D. Wolfwood
Stun-gun Milly (Milly Thompson)
Brilliant Dynamite's Neon, or B.D.N.
Adam
E.G. Mine
Jason Voorhees
Monev the Gale

Good luck, guys. Keep in touch, and I'll see you soon, I hope.
