Recent news at MMDV has revealed that our missing friends are back... but missing their souls, most likely the work of Kanna (one of Naraku's detachments) and her mirror. Fortunately, I am familiar enough with her to know the means by which to free the trapped souls, and have released this information. Even more fortunately, none of my troops have been attacked in this way. However, we are still vulnerable, and will take no chances. We continue to go out in groups, just in case, and only rarely at all.

Honestly, I keep wondering at this point: why haven't we been attacked yet (by an actual enemy)? I'd have expected Renkotsu to drop by and attack, but he hasn't. And that makes me nervous.

Then again, that just may be the idea.

Oh, and E.G. Mine wants to tell Naraku that when they next meet, he's taking the rest of his powers and sending him back to Hell where he belongs. Just as a reminder of their ongoing rivalry.

Until next time...

With the rash of disapearances lately (most likely the work of Voldemort and Naraku), it’s best we all check in on a regular basis. Luckily, my guys - the Gung-Ho Guns, the Newrima Wrecking Crew, the YuYu Crew, the Shichinintai, Krueger (in the Dream Plane) and the two demons included - are all fine. We made New Eden to be impregnable to the real villains way back when it was first created, and my live-ins go out in pairs, if not threes or fours, just to be safe. If anyone wants to move in for the duration of the crisis, our little pocket dimension is the safest place around that I know of - it may have been intended for humanity to settle in once they were ready to finally put aside their differences and work together in peace, but we recently added an anti-violence field just to be safe. So even if our enemies manage to get in, they won’t be able to cause any harm.

In fact, there’s already a few unexpected guests: apparently, our wandering warrior Ryoga was down in Kentucky the other day, and the Dinobots followed him home. They’ve decided to hang around in New Eden until the Autobots come to get them or the war is over (whichever comes first).

Aside from that, nothing much has been going on at our place, though I’m waiting for the other shoe to drop. (And its name will be Renkotsu. Somehow, I just know he’s going to show his face again soon.)

Until next time...
