Should have updated this a few days ago, but oh well. We're back home, there was no trouble at the wedding (though I'm fairly certain I saw a certain wandering friend passing through a few times), and my sister and her husband are off on her honeymoon.

However, upon reading Kenya's blog today, I discovered that some of our allies from the Terran Resistance are in trouble. A being known as Nemesis Prime, herald of Unicron, has gravely wounded Optimus Prime, his counterpart in our universe. Optimus will survive, but the coming of Unicron means certain disaster for all worlds. Vader, Kenya and others have already gone off to Kentucky in order to lend a hand, and though I may not have met any of the Transformers myself, I do know of them, and I know how dangerous Unicron can be. We're trying to create a peaceful world here, but he wants to destroy it. So I'm calling in all nineteen of the Gung-Ho Guns to help out as well.

Vash and Knives. Meryl and Milly. Wolfwood and Legato. Midvalley the Hornfreak and Dominique the Cyclops. E.G. Mine and his partner Jason Voorhees. Bankotsu and his beloved Princess Abi. Adam and Brad (the Ninelives). Chapel the Evergreen and Monev the Gale. Rai-Dei the Blade and Brilliant Dynamite's Neon (B.D.N.). Clayface and our wandering warrior Ryoga Hibiki, the young man with great physical strength, an energy attack powered by his depression, no sense of direction, and a curse that changes him into a black-skinned piglet when he's splashed with cold water. (A little hot water will change him back to normal.) They're all going to help. (And if we can find ourselves a 21st member, that would really help.)

Stay strong, everyone. For the sake of everyone on this planet, we cannot, and will not, give up. Ever.

Until next time!

Insanity reigns. We've had one new would-be Gung-Ho Gun show up, but a few days later, he went out to get some supplies and never came back. Judging by his past history, our friend probably made several wrong turns as soon as he went out the door, and I don't expect to see him back anytime soon. This means we've had to scrub him from the roster. Unfortunate.

Meanwhile, with Mara Jade's attacking Kenya out in Idaho, and pretty much every other bounty hunter, mercenary and would-be assassin-for-hire going after her too, I've dispatched Knives and a team of Gung-Ho Guns to help deal with the problem. Knives gave me a call shortly after they arrived, letting me know he'd already taken out a couple of them. I'm not certain who that was that I heard cackling in the background, but I suspect it was two of our three masked members. Reformed or not, if those two start causing trouble, I'll have to pull them off active duty for a while.

In other news, I've been watching more movies and anime. A friend loaned me a particular series, which happens to have 161 episodes, 11 OVAs and three movies (one of which is packaged with the OVAs and is often mistaken for one, two of which my friend doesn't own). I'm enjoying watching it, and it's even inspired me to write another new fanfic series, which includes two major plot twists early on, then mostly runs concurrent with the manga from there. I've thrown in a few of the anime plots as well, and of course I'm continuing the plot threads I introduced early on. At this point, I know how it started, I have some idea of how it's going to end, and I've figured out which storylines to adapt in between. I just need to work out a few details.

Perhaps the most important news of all is that a team of Gung-Ho Guns (led by Vash and Meryl) and I are going out of town this weekend to attend my elder sister's wedding. They'll be handling security detail, so if there's any villains are reading this, don't be getting any bright ideas. We're watching for you.

Until next time!
