I realize it's been half a month since I last updated. But there's been a lot happening. Such as our team being sucessful. Vader got the Horcrux, then tricked Palpatine into destroying it. Vash and the others involved then did all they could... and Kenya is free. Palpatine is gone for good. And this time, we know for sure that all we've got left are the remnants of his supporters.
Not to mention that Kenya and Vader are officially dating. Congratulations and good luck to both of them. Vash, Meryl and Nicholas D. Wolfwood were thrilled when they found out. Milly is ecstatic. Knives had no comment when I asked him earlier, but he appeared to be smirking when he said that. (He's reading this over my shoulder now. I believe his exact words were, "It's about time they hooked up.") Everyone else offered some varient of "Good luck" and "Congratulations".
The Gung-Ho Guns have come back home, of course. I'm not sure, but while he was training with Genkai to learn the Harai no Ken, or Fist of Purification (a very useful technique that helped to destroy Palpatine), Vash also somehow gained the ability to cross the country in very short periods of time. And he can bring the others with him.
In all this time, I remain busy as ever. A friend has been providing me with more anime to watch (most of the movies have been good, though the last TV show he gave me turned boring pretty quickly). I've been working on some stories: got one mostly completed, though the latter third of the plotline still needs some details; got one completely finished; got stuck on another; and the latest is still in progress and may have gone comatose where it is now. I've watched the Complete First Season that I bought about a week or so back, and enjoyed it enough that I'm going to buy the rest of the series. But there's still more that I need to do. I need to keep finding more things to watch.
See, even with Vash and the others currently hanging around, they're back to working on their New Eden, and I'm probably going to get bored again soon. And as Galatea once said in her penultimate episode of a show I used to watch, "Boredom is my Kryptonite." It certainly applies to me, though in my case, "Boredom is my Red Kryptonite." Think about it for a while, and draw your own conclusions. You may be surprised by the result.
Until next time!
